The story
begins somewhere in Nepal where the guy’s mission is to rescue a Chinese billionaire
abducted by mercenaries. When a misterious safecase containing sensitive
information went missing, CIA Official Church (Willis) reunited them to find it
and bring it back before it falls into the wrong hands. Barney (Stallone) took
the job but when one of his guys got killed on the job, he’s got one thing in
mind: payback.
Empty story, endless gunshot scenes and ass
kicking grandpas. The film is still successful. How come? Everything lies in
the main actors’ presence and most importantly, the word ‘nostalgy’ comes to
mind so let's have fun. As I grew up watching these guys (their names are Stallone, Norris,
Lundgren, Van Damme, Schwarzenegger and Li), I say Expendables 2 is awesome
and even surpasses the first one.
