Well, you haven’t probably heard of this film
because of its small budget or because none of the cast and crew is familiar to
you. I came across a Gimme the Loot poster on my way to see another flick and I
decided to stop by. Didn’t regret it.
The movie tells the story of two teenagers
from the Bronx, who spend most of their
time to make graffitis. To challenge a ‘rival’ gang, they plan to tag the Mets
home run apple but need $500, so where to find it?
There begins a long adventure for Sofia and
Malcolm. It’s about what they do and what happens to them along the way. The
main characters are soo cute and endearing that the actors, Ty Hickson and
Tashiana Washington managed to make us forget about how litthe their
acting experience is.
